Chris serves on the boards of the Denver Institute for Faith & Work and the Mile High WorkShop. He loves to write, having been published in The Denver Post and Christianity Today and co-authored Mission Drift, Entrepreneurship for Human Flourishing, and Rooting for Rivals with Peter Greer.

GRIFF FREYSCHLAG

Griff is the V.P of Development at the Denver Rescue overseeing an annual budget of approximately $23 million. The Mission has 5 locations serving more than 600,000 meals a year and providing more than 160,000 nights of shelter.

JENA LEE NARDELLA

Jena believes deeply in building the durability and sustainability of nonprofit organizations and leaders. At the age of 21, she cofounded Blood:Water alongside the band, Jars of Clay. Under her leadership, the organization raised more than $20M to provide grants to grassroots organizations addressing HIV/AIDS and water in sub-Saharan Africa. Jena now serves as a Partner at Praxis, focused on equipping nonprofit leaders with the community, content and practices that build and sustain redemptive ventures.

Prior to landing at DIFW, Brian served in pastoral ministry for thirteen years and at Denver Seminary for four years. His vocation includes moving ideas out into life through relationships and conversation – whether that applies to God, work, the Church, good beer, or Liverpool Football Club. He married way out of his league, and spends most of his free-time being parented by his two daughters.

STEPH FRANCES

Steph's expertise lies in activating talent in youth on the margins and creating dynamic cultures that engage youth in their intrinsic motivation to learn. She has led Prodigy’s enterprise to double-digit year-over-year sales growth and accolades such as Best New Coffeehouse in Denver, and built an apprenticeship model for disconnected youth with an 85% completion rate. She was the Denver Business Journal 2018 Outstanding Women in Business finalist.

For causes ranging from public education to the advancement of free enterprise to animal health, he’s helped organizations raise over $50 million dollars in private philanthropy.

JOHNELL MOODY

Johnell Moody is born and raised in Denver's Five Points neighborhood. He is currently an Area Director with Denver Metro Young Life and leading the development of multiethnic youth in northeast Denver and South Denver.

MARIANNA DIVIETRO

Marianna DiVietro is the Director of Major Gifts and Annual Giving at the Denver Zoological Foundation. In this role, she leads a team working to build its first major gifts program for the zoo. Previously, in her roles at the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Marianna focused on major gift work in the arts, sciences, public affairs, and business.

Aaron Sands lives with his family in Nashville, TN. He helped launch the nonprofit Blood:Water, and has spent the past 15 years in various roles and capacities across operations and fundraising.

They serve students in Austin, TX and teach folks across the country how to bring this model to their own community.

Hillary's service to the social sector has ranged from front line case management to a role in state government.  She sets up programs that are designed to achieve significant impact. Hillary is the Instructional Designer for the Seed Gathering.
